Carving Pumpkins...

Brandon and I carved pumpkins the other night, this has always been a tradition of ours since we have been together. I think we've only missed one year doing this when he went off to school in North Carolina. We both love everything about Halloween: pumpkins, the fall weather, the decorations, halloween candy, and of course dressing up!

I'm still going as Cruella DeVille, and we worked on my jacket the other night and I can't wait to wear my costume! Brandon changed his mind to go as a Zombie instead of Beetle Juice. This week we just have a few little things to get and do to our costumes and we'll be ready to go for Halloween!!

UGA vs LSU

Georgia beat LSU this afternoon52-38, they played a great game and Moreno still continues to amaze me in what he can do. I can't wait to see what they do next week against Florida, it should be a great game.

Oh Athens....how I've missed you!

Last weekend we went to the UGA vs TN game, and we had so much fun! We got there earlier this year, so I was able to show Brandon around Athens and how we spent our Saturdays growing up there. We stopped by to see some of the people we tailgated with, went to see the bell we rang after Georgia won, the famous Arch, the courtyard (which used to be wide open, but is now covered with people who tailgate) and trees we used to climb, the fountain (that was barricaded up with no water in it!), and the Law Library that they won't let you go in now. It's definitely changed with what they will allow you to do now, but it was fun to show Brandon everything.

Halloween Costume

I've decided to be Cruella DeVille for Halloween this year, and I can't wait! Anyone who knows me understands how much I love Halloween. I have been dressing up for Halloween ever since I can remember, and it helps too that Brandon and I share this same passion. He's decided to be Beetle Juice. I've got part of my costume and shoes, I still just need to find some little things that she wore in the movie. I rented 101 Dalmations so I could watch it again and see all the details of what she wore. I'll have to post pictures after Halloween...23 more days til Halloween!!

Fall Programming

There are so many good shows on this Fall! I'm glad tv is back to normal now! Here are some of the shows I love this season:

Dining Room Table

We finished the table a few weeks ago, and I couldn't believe how different it looked. Brandon did most of the work, but I did help with sanding some of the chairs. I'm so happy with the way it turned out and we actually have been eating dinner every night at the table! It's very special to me to think that years ago my great grandfather and great grandmother were eating dinner at this very same table!
