I absolutely ADORE this!

So my sister Joanna won a custom design giveaway for Ashley Brooke Designs, when she got her proof I just had to have one! I emailed Ashley and we changed some things here and there and it turned out so cute! I absolutely love it!! Ashley was so easy to work with, not to mention extremely talented!

Today I go to my mailbox and she has sent me a thank you note for ordering the notepad, how awesome is that! I mean what companies do that....NONE! That was so nice of her!

Thanks again Ashley for everything, and hopefully we'll get to work together again in the future for my new business venture!!

LOVE IT!!

This was all I could say after I saw my sister's engagement pictures. I love every single one of them! They are so good, and I only wish I would of known about this photographer when I got married because I would of chose them! Check them out at Alea Moore

Every picture captures the feeling Joanna and Chad have for each other, not to mention the love their dog Lola has for them. I am so proud of my little sister for all that she has accomplished and so happy she has found the man of her dreams! She has always been there for me and I will be forever grateful. I only wish them years of happiness, and I am so excited about their wedding coming up in October!!

I love every picture, but here are some of my favs:

Wow, has it already been a year!?

I can't believe Brandon and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary yesterday! Wow how time flies, it seems like just yesterday we were getting engaged and planning our wedding. We had such a great time together yesterday. We ate lunch at Houston's and then went for a couples massage at Spa Sydell. It was the first massage for both of us and we really enjoyed it..I think I'm going to become addicted to those now. They are just so peaceful and relaxing when you don't have a care in the world! We actually ate our wedding cake, and surprisingly it tasted just like it did on our wedding day...I couldn't believe it! I am so lucky to have him as my husband and I look forward to spending many, many more years together! I think the best part of it all was having my granddaddy call to wish me a Happy Anniversary and to tell me that I should be having babies now, not getting another puppy!

Meet Daisy!

So this weekend Brandon and I got a new puppy! I've really been wanting another dog, and we just happened to run across these Beagle's on the way to Brandon's parents house. We've had a Beagle before named Sparco, but sadly he got hit by a car a few years ago. He was the first dog we ever got together, and the loss of Sparco was so hard for the both of us. He was such a loving and friendly dog, we knew we always wanted to get another Beagle (we just didn't know when)
I was nervous how Badger (our Boston Terrier) and Daisy would do together, but they actually get along good (so far)! Daisy is 8 weeks old and is just the cutest thing!

Sparco, when he was a puppy

Here's Sparco when he was grown (he was such a beautiful dog!)

Mommywood

Ok, so I'm back from hiatus! I just recently started reading Tori Spelling's new book, Mommywood, and I love it! I've posted before about how I loved her last book Stori Telling. I'm halfway through this one and I can't wait to finish it soon. I've always been a huge fan of hers, and I loved seeing her back on 90210 last week!

Sunshine Here We Come...I Hope!

I'm so excited about going to the beach with Brandon for a few days. This is where we got enagaged 2 years ago, and we will actually be down there the same day it happened!! I can't believe it has been that long ago, it seems just like yesterday. It will be so nice to get away from everything and spend some time together.

I will be so EXCITED

...if this true. I just went on People to find out that Melissa Rycroft will be taking over Nancy O'Dell's spot on Dancing with the Stars tomorrow night!!! I absolutely love her, as I have previously posted about. I love Dancing with the Stars and this will make it all the better if she will be on here. If she is, I think she will do great since she already has some experience as being a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

So I kept on reading the article and the news just kept getting better! They also said Holly Madison, from Girls Next Door is going to take over Jewel's spot. I love both of these girls from watching their shows, can you tell I'm a sucker for reality TV?

I guess we will all find out tomorrow night at 8p if this news is true, and I REALLY hope it is!!

What A Jerk!

That was all I could say after I watched The Bachelor: After The Final Rose. I was so happy when Jason picked Melissa! I absolutely loved her from the beginning, since I had already known about her from the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader show on CMT. In all honesty I was happy with the final 2 he choose to pick from, because I would of been happy with either one to win...but deep down I really wanted Melissa to win!

I would of NEVER imagined this to be the outcome of this show. When DeAnna didn't choose Jason, I felt so bad for him and was so excited for him to be the next Bachelor. I thought he was this sweet, down to earth kind of guy...BOY was I wrong. He had me fooled, and I think me along with the rest of the world!

I just felt so bad for Melissa in the end, here he is dumping her on national television. I don't care what Jason says about signing some stupid contract, we are dealing with people's feelings here...have a little heart and just tell her in private. Not to mention, why in the HELL did he pick Melissa, let alone ask her to marry him if he felt she wasn't the one for him in the end?? And Molly, how in the world could she trust this guy after all the lies he's told!

All I can say is that this happened for a reason for Melissa and she doesn't deserve that jerk! I just wish they would of picked her for the next Bachelorette.

So needless to say I am boycotting The Bachelor from now on!!

Happy V-Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! It has definately not what I thought it was going to be thats for sure! Brandon and I celebrated it last night, we went to eat at this hibachi grill in Tryone called Nikko. It was really good, and has such a great atmosphere. He got me some roses and my favorite piece of cheesecake from the Marietta Diner. I got him a game he wanted for his Playstation 3 and his favorite cake from Piece of Cake. We had a really great time last night....and then this morning on the way to the post office we got in an accident. We're both alright but just kind of sore. It messed up his car so it had to be towed in. Needless to say thats not how I pictured the day to start out! But fortunately we are both ok, and we have my car that we can drive since we've been commuting to work. So hope everyone's has been better than ours!!

Color Careers

I found this webite that tells you what your career should be based on the colors you choose. The Dewey Color System® is the world's first and only validated, color-based personality career testing instrument. It's really neat to see what it says. I think mine is somewhat true. Check it out, here!

Inauguration Ball Gowns

I thought it would be neat to find some Inauguration Ball Gowns that the First Lady's wore over the years, since this year's is fast approaching...not that I am looking forward to it since I won't be supporting our new upcoming President. I am sad to see Bush go, YES THAT'S RIGHT...I am a HUGE George W. Bush fan! I will admit I am still bitter that McCain didn't win....I am interested to see how these next 4 years turn out.

Its amazing how much styles change over the years. I was able to find some really old photos of the gowns, but it was hard! There's not a lot of pictures of these out there. By the way, these of course are all of our Republican First Lady's!! Hope you enjoy.

DISCO!

For New Years Eve Joanna, Chad, Brandon, and I went to the Alamo in Newnan. This place is always so much fun and they always have different events going on to get you involved. NYE was 70s Disco Night at the Alamo...so you had to come dressed in your 70s best! Of course Brandon and I loved this, because any excuse to dress up and we're there...have I mentioned before how much we love Halloween? I think I have! :)

This had to of been the best New Years Eve....we had such a blast! Here's some of the pictures from that night!

Today is the DAY!

Today is the day that I always somehow talk my way out of, today is the day that I have talked about doing for years, today is the day that I start my diet! Now I really have to do it since I'm posting this right!? This is something that I have always put off, and I sure would love to get back into that high school body I had years ago! I know I may not be able to get that small but I want to get close to it. This is going to be really hard work and determination, but I REALLY want to do this for myself!

While doing this I thought it would be neat to find websites or blogs to help me throughout the way, and there are tons out there! I found this really awesome website called Gyminee, its got all kinds of fun stuff on there. You can put in a journal everything you eat, and you can search all kinds of food on there to see how many calories, protein, etc it has in it. It will tell you how many calories you need to eat a day to maintain your weight, and how many calories you need to eat to loose a pound a week. It has workout routines on there and videos that show you how to do them.
So here's to looking like this in several months...don't know if I can look this good?
(BTW...unfortunately this was photoshopped!)
